Special Features
The new Casio LK-280 portable keyboard features a 61-Key Piano Style Touch Response Keyboard with light-up keys. Featuring 600 total onboard Tones, 180 Rhythms, and Reverb plus Chorus Digital Effects. Packed with great features such as Casio’s famous Light-up keys and Step-up Lesson System, a 5 track recorder, audio inputs for an MP3 player and a class compliant USB port for MIDI. The LK-280 comes with an included power supply but it can run on batteries if you’d like to take your music with you. All this makes LK-280 more powerful and expressive than anything like it.
USB MIDI
Casio continues the tradition or providing “class compliant” USB connectivity on our Lighted Keyboard line. This allows Casio Lighted Keyboards to be used with Mac or Windows computers without the need for downloading drivers. Class Compliant USB MIDI also allows Lighted Keyboard digital pianos to be used as a controller for the Apple iPad simply by using Apple’s Camera Connection Kit.
Lighted Key Advantage
Casio’s combination of the exclusive Step Up Lesson system and lighted piano-style keys make learning to play the piano entertaining and fun. Maybe that’s why Casio sells more lighted key keyboards than anyone else.
Built in Songs
Casio’s LK-280 has a built-in library of 152 songs, more than most others in its class. Whether you are using the songs to learn with the Step Up Lesson system, or playing along with a song for fun, you will find greater choices to meet your needs. Compare the number of songs to other manufacturers and you will see Casio has the advantage.
Polyphony
The LK-280 offers 48 notes of polyphony so you don’t have to worry about dropping notes. Using the sustain pedal for multiple notes, playing big chords, adding rhythms and layering sounds can deplete the polyphony memory quickly resulting in dropped notes. When searching for a keyboard, take the amount of polyphony into consideration.
Preset Rhythms
The LK-280 has 180 preset rhythms built into the keyboard. Additional rhythms expand your music composition, creativity and fun.
AC Adapter Included
Casio’s portable keyboards can run on batteries or an AC adapter. Unlike other companies, Casio includes an AC adapter with all portable keyboards.
